Node JS Developer

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Node JS Developer with strong expertise in PostgreSQL and frameworks such as Express JS or Nest JS. The ideal candidate should have a strong backend development background and be comfortable with building scalable, high-performance applications.

What makes you a great fit

• Must have at least 3 years of experience with Node JS and at least 1-2 years of experience with Express JS or Nest JS.
• Strong experience with PostgreSQL including database design, optimization, and performance tuning.
• Proficiency in building RESTful APIs and integrating them with frontend systems.
• Familiarity with ORMs (Object Relational Mapping), preferably Sequelize or TypeORM.
• Knowledge of authentication mechanisms, such as JWT or OAuth, and experience with building secure APIs.
• Ability to work with cloud technologies for deployment and scaling.
• Familiarity with working in agile environments and using Jira or similar task management tools.
• Experience with unit testing and integration testing.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to debugging and performance optimization.

Job Qualification

• Education: Graduate/Post Graduate in Computer Science or related field.

Abilities

• Ability to write clean, scalable, and maintainable code.
• Strong database design skills, particularly with PostgreSQL, including query optimization and data integrity.
• Solid understanding of backend architecture and the ability to design and implement microservices-based systems.
• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
• Good communication skills to coordinate with cross-functional teams.
• Strong attention to detail and performance optimization.
